Beach Engagement Photoshoot in Baleal | Filipa + Marco
Filipa and Marco’s engagement shoot was one of those days that felt like a cozy adventure—cloudy skies, salty air, and just the right amount of wind to make everything feel alive.
We kicked things off the best way possible: with a plate of snails (caracóis, of course) and a couple of cold beers on a seaside esplanade. The view was all ocean blues and soft grey skies, the kind of scene that makes you slow down and just breathe it all in.
Our first stop was the charming Baleal Peninsula, a sweet little stretch of land dotted with whitewashed holiday homes and narrow paths. Filipa wore a relaxed white dress and her trusty Birkenstocks, while Marco kept it cool in a blue shirt, brown trousers, and his Old Skool Vans. Low-key stylish and totally them.
As we wandered to the edge of the peninsula, the scenery shifted—raw cliffs, wild waves, and wind-swept hair moments that felt straight out of a coastal dream. The clouds gave the whole shoot this soft, moody light that made every shot feel a little extra magical.
Before sunset, we made our way to Praia d’El Rey, a quiet, untouched beach where cliffs rise on one side and the Atlantic stretches out on the other. The beach was practically ours, and the light filtered through the clouds in the most cinematic way. Shoes were off, feet in the sand, and they just soaked it all in—laughing, running around, being completely themselves.
This shoot had all the good stuff: coastal vibes, connection, and the kind of weather that wraps around you like a blanket. Filipa and Marco brought the warmth, and the cloudy skies brought the mood.
